BASIC STANCES & HAND TECHNIQUES:
Stances:

All White and Yellow Belt Stances and Hand Techniques plus
Fighting Stance
Blocks:
Knife hand middle block
Strikes:
Palm Strike
Ridge Hand Strike
Knife Hand Strike

KICKS:
Front Kick, Side Kick, Round Kick, Back Kick (Combination and/or Middle-High)
Skip Side Kick, Skip Round Kick    (Single or Combination)
Bent Leg Axe (Rear and Front Leg)

3 STEP SPARRING   
(Demonstrate 3 techniques from long, medium and close distance)

When Punching where on your fist do you strike? 
You strike on the first two knuckles

When punching what is the position of the non-punching hand? 
The position is on the Belt

In a “Long/Front Stance”  what percentage of weight is on the front leg? 
60%-70% of weight is on front leg

In a “Back Stance”  what percentage of weight is on the back leg? 
60%-70% of weight is on front leg

To test our knowledge and preparation of Taekwondo. To gain confidence by performing under pressure and to let a qualified judge determine the increase in our knowledge.
